John Dick needs no introduction to the POS crowd, the current No.1 Featherweight in the UK, STBA Scottish Champion, IKF British Champion, ISKA British Champion is set to defend his UK No.1 spot in the rankings, as he defends the challenge of fellow Scot Davy Mac, who has now relocated to Leeds and now trains in the best gym in the UK, Bad Company. This fight has been in the making for the last year as Davy has risen to contend the No. 1 spot and there is sure to be fireworks when it finally gets under way.

Kieran McAskill (POS Fight Team, SCOTLAND) Vs. Gerald Smith (Bridgestone, IRELAND) (54kg)
Kieran McAskill, the up and coming young local fighter is currently ranked No.4 in the UK independent rankings and after 3 strong performances at the last 3 POS events and winning the ISKA British title against Darren Whewell in his last outing. He now faces Gerald Smith from Dublin, who comes to the ring with a strong pedigree behind him, as the Bridgestone fighters always come to fight.

Jordan is a future star in the sport and this with a great junior pedigree and collection of titles to his name. He is now making waves in the senior rankings and again takes on nternational opposition on the POS stage. This clinical young Scot can finish a fight with a variety of techniques, so don’t blink! He again takes on international opposition on the POS stage as he faces Nasri.

Alan Weaver (NAMT) Vs. Aaron O’Callaghan (Siam Warriors, IRELAND) (56kg)
Alan Weaver is becoming one of the best up and coming fighters in the Scottish Muay Thai scene, he is currently training and fighting in Thailand, so it will be interesting to see his first performance back on home soil. He takes on a very skillful fighter from Cork in Aaron O’Callaghan in a fight that offers an interesting clash of styles.
B Class
- Ritchie Hocking (NKT, SCOTLAND) Vs. Naoise Creven (Bridgestone, IRELAND) (80kg)
Hocking is one of the most poular fighters to ever fight on POS and has fought on every POS event. Since POS1 this teenager has grown 10 inces and put on 17kg and transformed into a monster of a fighter. Combined with his great technical ability, Hocking is now ready to climb the UK Rankings and start challenging for titles. On POS8 he will take on another International challenger from the very well regarded Bridgestone gym in Dublin, who always produce very talented and tough fighters.

JoJo makes her POS debut and puts her unbeaten record on the line against another International fighter in Ferial Amweerodien. JoJo is a very aggressive fighter who can end fights clinically, but when fighting any fighter from the Irish gym you can always expect a tough fight!

Gulapkaw is the new unknown quantity to the Muay Thai scene in Scotland. A 19 yr old Thai national who moved to Scotland 4 years ago and who has recently just started back training in his national sport. Even with a 4-year lay-off from training, Gulapkaw has had 59 fights in Thailand and is sure to be a great addition to the domestic Muay Thai scene. The first Scot to take him on is Paul Kelly, a young up-and-coming fighter who is a well-rounded and rangy fighter with a great engine and who is determined to take this scalp.

John Dick is one of Scotland's most successful active fighters and is the current No.1 Featherweight in the UK, STBA Scottish Champion, IKF British Champion, ISKA British Champion and is renowned for his toughness and attacking style. John is always involved in action packed fights and thrives as an underdog. John faces a young Irish fighter named Stephen Meleady, a very aggressive fighter who will not be intimidated by John's reputation.
John Douglas (NKT) Vs. Peter Tiarks (Sor Thanikul, ENGLAND) (70kg)
John Douglas is one of the most naturally gifted fighters of his generation and has been a POS resident from the start. Having picked up the ISKA British Welterweight Title back in POS4, he moves up to 70kg and is matched against Pater Tiarks from Newcastle. Peter has been fighting for many years in Muay Thai and also has a strong record in Pro MMA and brings will prove a tough and technical chalenge for Douglas.
B Class
Ritchie Hocking (NKT, SCOTLAND) Vs. Matt Inman (SBG, ENGLAND) (78kg)
Ritchie Hocking is a contant on the POS stage, the 17 year old local fighter loves to put on a show and is set to take on the English Pro MMA fighter Matt Inman. This is a rematch and Hocking puts the first fight from almost 2 years ago down as the toughest fight of his life. But this stylish young fighter has developed significantly since and is eager to put in a strong performance.
Keiran McAskill (NKT, SCOTLAND) Vs. Che Nam (Shin Kick, ENGLAND) (53kg)
After a head turning performance at POS5 when Kieran McAskill beat the highly decorated champion kickboxer Leif Taggart, this young man now moves down to 53kg, to take on the British Ranked No.4 Flyweight, Che Nam. This is yet another big challenge for the 19 year old McAskill, fighing this strong English fighter who will just be back from extensive training in Thailand.
Jordan Calder (Caledonian, SCOTLAND) Vs. Fikret Van Den Doel (Scorpio, HOLLAND) (57kg)
Jordan Calder is sure to be a future star of Muay Thai in Scotland and at 15 years old, he again takes on international opposition, in Fikret Van De Doel from Holland. 17 year old Fikret is undeafeated in 4 previous fights, so on paper seems like a good challenge for young Calder.
Lyn Min Din (Caledonian, SCOTLAND) Vs. Wayne Fisher (Carlisle, ENGLAND) (63.5kg)
Lyn Min Din is making his debut on POS, but his style and skills may look familiar, as he is trained by POS regular Tommy Young. Lyn brings a great Thai stly delivered with power and accuracy and faces another regular POS fighter, Wayne Fisher from Carlisle. Wayne is a very experienced fighter, considering his age and always seems to perform well on the POS stage.
Nial Smith (NKT) Vs. Wullie Dempster (Dragons) (70kg)
This a fight that has been coming for a while. Nial Smith coming of a strong last minute performance on POS5 and is now lined up against the explosive and more experienced opponent who also collected a win on the previous event. This matchup will be allowing elbows, which will add to the drama of it.
Connor McEwan (Sit Ayuthaya) Vs. Gordon Ross (Kaizen) (70kg)
Another young up and coming fighter that is quickly gaining much praise in the senior ranks is Conner McEwan, a tall rangy fighter who is good in every range faces the very tough and durable Adam Little. Little is looking to avenge his last defeat on POS at the hands of Raj Singh and is determined to show what he can do.
Keith Middleton (Aberdeen) Vs. Chris Batty (Tigoku) (75kg)
Keith Middleton has burst onto the Scottish scene last year and seemed to be one of the busiest fighters on the circuit. Having debuted on POS5 with a strong performance, Keith now faces Chris Batty, who fought on the last POS in MMA and who will be looking to continue his POS winning streak.

However, anyone who has followed the fights with McAskill will know that he is a very exciting young fighter with style technique and speed and this fight could be one of the most exciting on the card.

Tommy Young is regarded as one of Scotland's most technical fighters despite only having a handful of fights to his name. However, Tommy still has significant experience, with much time spent training in Thailand and his second fight was in the World renowned Rajadamnern in Bangkok! Stevie Brown was building a reputation as an aggressive and strong fighter at Light Welterweight, he then challenged some top UK fighters all the way down to Featherweight, but suffered cruel losses to cuts. He is now back at his original weight to start back where he left off.
